Very little has been found about Anglin & Randall.

J. Robert Anglin worked as a "retoucher" for MM & WH Gardner according to city directories around 1890. Nothing so far on Randall.

Below is an interesting clip from the Atlanta Constitution July 19, 1896.

This is an auction site example, not in the LOST GALLERY collection. The photographer was reviewed here by request.

Not the one you were looking for? Here's the photographer's INDEX by name. Listed here are all the Cabinet Card photographers of the 19th century found in LOST GALLERY. This is a work in progress. For a look at the original postings go to LOST GALLERY.

  1. Hey, I'm writing a blog post about old photos I bought at a gunshow, and one of the photos I have, just has the Randall name. I noticed that some other photos floating around the web have both Anglin and Randall on it, did they split?
I'm scanning the lot I got in pretty good resolution, you could use some of them if you want.

    1. Thanks for your comment. Not much was found about Anglin and Randall so perhaps a review is in order. Typically the partnerships of the early photographers didn’t last very long, most only a few months.

Additional examples of a photographer’s work are always welcome. Send scans, including the edges (don’t crop) to the address found in the profile. The edges sometimes help date a card.
