There are no city directories available for McPherson, KS for this period. Newspaper ads and items indicate the Elite Studio was in operation from December of 1895 to March of 1897 when it was sold to W G Doss. No photographer identification has been made before that.

The only information found on
"Kinzey and Company"
from the Cabinet Card era, (1870-1900) was about a dry goods department store in New York and a wholesale drug firm out of Cincinatti, Ohio. It is possible that there was a photograph department in one of the stores. No more is known at this time.

Examples from this studio appear to be quite scarce.
