It is fairly clear that D G Clark was in the photography business from about Jun of 1880 to August of 1900. In Kansas he operated from October of 1888 to January of 1896. The cabinet card here would have been done between 1892 and the end of 1895 when Clark moved to Boulder, Colorado.

The card at the right is from Holdrege, NE. Goodland, KS, is only 172 miles from Holdrege, NE. The imprinted name on this one is different than the top example. It's only a faint possibility that this is D G Clark.

This could be Rex M Clark, who is also documented in Fairbury, NE, less than 150 from Holdrege, NE, and connected by a rail line.
