Julius Leschinsky appears to have been a photographer all his life. No studio addresses have been found.

This cabinet card was probably finished around 1917 when he was living at 109 e 3rd, Grand Island, NE..

"The studio location was at 109 East Third Street, the main commercial street, from it's beginning to when it was moved two blocks west due to an urban renewal project of the downtown area in 1979. The Leschinskys lived at the Koenig Street address their entire married life. It continued under the ownership and management of his two nephews, Carl and Stanley Lumbard. It closed its doors just two months from its 100 year anniversary. "

This means that the cabinet card at the top could have been done anytime from about 1880 to 1979. It is likely, however, that it was done before 1900 as the cabinet card format had rapidly lost popularity after about 1895.
