Oliver H. Perry

Apparently there were three O. H. Perry’s, two of them photographers, in the decades around 1900. The two photographers moved around a bit so keeping them separate was a difficult task.
The O. H. Perry followed here spent some time in or around Wymore, NB. There are big gaps in the documentation but here is where the photographer was on these dates:

Nov born in New York State, most likely Edinburg, Saratoga County
1859 - 1860
Edinburg, Saratoga, NY: Both parents die
There is a gap on his location here as he probably lived with relatives or was in a foster home.

Oliver Perry was born in NY. His father was James Samuel Perry, born 1819 in Rutland Co VT. His father moved to NY, married Mary and had three children in NY. One, the baby, was Oliver H.
His father left that family sometime in the early 1850s and moved to IL, where he met and married Lydia Smith. He had children with Lydia, they moved to southern MN.
James left Lydia and his MN kids and moved back to IL with a widow from the town he and his family where residing in. He married the widow and had three more children, one of whom survived to adulthood.
James died in 1899 in Girard KS. No other family members made their living through photographer that I have found.
