R A Williams

Photographer: R A (or possibly A R) Williams
Joplin. MO
example from LOST GALLERY

Only a few newspaper clippings have been found touching the life of R A Williams, photographer. It is speculated that R A Williams changed occupations at least once but no documents have been found to support this. It can be shown that R A Williams was photographer in the north east Kansas area, around Topeka, KS, from about 1888 to 1897. Joplin, MO is only about 200 miles south of the Topeka, KS, area.

There was an R A Williams as a druggist in the Soldier, KS, and an R A Williams, MD, of Olathe, KS, but no connection has been made to photography. There was also a murder case in 1902 involving an R A Williams of Ardmore, OK, but no connection has been made.
