Rice Studio continues in business at 525 13th managed by one of the ten (12 by some accounts) siblings, until 1930. There are no more city directory listing after that.

The cabinet card here must have been done in that short period between 1870 and 1871 when the studio address was 905 Pennsylvania Av , in Washington DC
