This cabinet card must have been finished around 1882, that short period when Cahoon apparently had a partner named Williams.
J C Cahoon
(1832 - 1814)
John C Cahoon can be documented as a photographer from about 1863 to
1900 and with his own studio between 1867 and May of 1888. From the
content of his advertising, he seemed to concentrate more on “Gems”,
the tiny postage stamp print, and enlargements, rather than the
cabinet card format.
