Piedmont, W V, newspaper obituary, John Thomas Wilde dies in his studio at age 57

John Thomas Wilde didn’t leave many tracks. Very little documentation was found of his years in photography. One obituary found alludes to his poor health and indebtedness.

The card shown here is light weight board with straight cut edges. An estimate of the date would be between 1880 and 1897 but most likely early in that period.
