Brutus Frichot
(1856-1940)
Brutus Frichot was a lifelong photographer. He worked for J T Mason and then J S Saurman in Leavenworth, KS, before finally opening his own gallery in 1896. His first location according to the 1896 City Directory was 505 Shawnee. The 1898 directory says it was 503 Shawnee. In 1900 it is listed as 518 Shawnee and apparently moved again after that.
The cabinet card era was waning around 1900 so fewer of that format was finished after that.
