Although there were three or four photographers named Wolf working in the US in the cabinet card era, Charles Howard Wolf was probably the photographer for this card. He lived longest in Indianapolis, IN, which is just fifty miles from Greensburg, IN, where this card was finished.

The only document found showing that Wolf was actually IN Greensburg was in 1900. The cabinet card at the top might have been done around that time. However, it could also have been done about any time during Wolf’s business life, as Greenburg, IN, is only a short distance from Indianapolis.
