According to documents found, it appears that Theodore Wise was a photographer between 1897 and 1910. There are some gaps in the records so that period might extend a short time before or after that period. He worked as proprietor of the Rothwell Gallery from about 1903 to 1910. The Rothwell cards are less likely to have his name on imprinted them.
After that, he seems to have left photography altogether, working at things like taxi driver and confectioner. Finally, his death certificate lists him as Circus Performer.
