Bexar County, TX, state records, Isaac Newton Rothwell dies at age 76
It appears A C Paris worked with Isaac N Rothwell from 1891 to his death in 1894. Then the wife of Paris, Mary Paris, continued the partnership for about a year after that. Paris and Rothwell were at 11 & 13 Commerce Street around 1891.
The cabinet cards stamped Rothwell of Washington, PA, were done by Isaac’s brother James W Rothwell. James was also born in Pennsylvania but never left the state. He was artist and photographer from about 1870 until his death in June of 1900.
When James Rothwell died in 1909, T H A Wise eventually took over the studio.
