The McIntire studio is found in newspaper mentions and ads from Nov 1877 to October 1901 for the studios in Crestline, Bucyrus and Galion, OH. McIntyre also had studios, off and on, in Bucyrus, OH, from at least 1895 to sometime in 1901. At the time of his death, the studio in Crestline was the only one still operating.

Note that most all of the newspaper mentions spell his name “McIntyre” while in most official documents it was spelled “McIntire”. He probably preferred "McIntire" because that is how the example cards are imprinted.
