Hello,
ReplyDeleteThe photo taken at Grand Central Stuido in Milwaukee of the young girl holding the fan adorned with feathers shown on the right has always intrigued me since I was a child as it was in an OLD family photo album containing similar vintage images. The photo had no information on the back so for the last fifty plus years she has remained a lost mystery.....until today. I was visiting my mom today on 'Mothers Day' and when I was leaving she gave me a box of old photos and letters that she found while cleaning out a drawer. Among the items was another photo of the mysterious little girl but on the back of the photo the name 'Mary Fisher' was written in old cursive script. Her last name was actually 'Fischer' but for some reason was written without the 'c'. I was looking on line for more information about who she may have married, etc., and her photo jumped out at me again at your blog. I think Mary is saying 'Hello'....
