C Grey

Photographer: C Grey
Holden, MO

As of 30 Jan 2018, nothing has been found about photographer Grey of Holden, MO. No other examples of work from Grey have been found.

There is no first name to narrow the search, only the initial “C” in the crest design. The family name Grey is not uncommon.

The population of Holden, MO, has been a steady 2,000 to 2,500 for decades, probably not enough to support a full time photographer.

Speculation: Holden, MO is just 25 miles from Lee’s Summit, MO, and 40 miles from Kansas City, MO, so these cities might be where the photographer was actually based.

Speculation: The crest design on the card is just two initials: C G. This might be because the first two names begin with C, making it C C Grey.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
