Robert William Trimble (1841- 1904) and his son Paul Starnes Trimble (1883-1946) were both photographers in the area of Mount Vernon, Missouri. However, neither Trimble has been documented as working in that city at any time. There are a lot of gaps in their biographies so it is still a possibility.
Research is continuing.
From the style and condition of this card, it was probably finished about 1900 or after. It is in good condition, fancy die cut with beveled, gilded edges.
Robert William Trimble (1841- 1904) lived and working in Nebraska City, NE from about 1893 until his death in 1904. He started as photographer in about 1880 and lived and worked in Nebraska City from about 1900 until his death.
