Dallas city directories 1875 through 1920 make no mention of a Union Gallery or any photo studio at 1131 Elm Street. It is possible the card was made as a novelty after 1920 but considering the costume of the subject, probably not.
The card itself is light weight, about 6 ply, with rounded corners, straight cut non-beveled edges.
