Only two photographers have been found with the surname Jonas. A New York City directory for 1915 shows Louis Jonas as photographer but this is not likely to be the photographer working in Oklahoma Territory.
The person who placed ads in the Oklahoma newspapers as “Jonas, photographer” was in real life, Jonas August Loranson.
Oklahoma did not become a state until 1907, so this cabinet card was made prior to that.
