There were several citizens named J B (or B J) Chambers in Texas during the cabinet card era. Only one Chambers came up associated with photography and then only once. The 1900 US census, John Bennette Chambers is listed as a photographer. All other documents show him as a real estate agent.

So if this is the correct Chambers as photographer for this unusual cabinet card, it must have been done around 1900.
