No connection has been made between Wheeler Gardner and John George Gardner except they were both photographers in Brooklyn, NY, between 1888 and 1891.

Documents show that Dillhoff had a studio at 1365 Broadway from 1902 to 1913. It was perhaps a bit longer but there are no records to support it so far.

Name: William Sitting Bull (ca. 1878-1909)
Native Name: Runs-away-from-him/Nakicipa
remark: only surviving son of Chief Sitting Bull, Lakota leader

William Sitting Bull was a performer with Frederick Cummins' Indian Congress in 1902 when that photograph was taken.
