It appears Mitchell P Creese opened his first photography gallery in Burr Oak, KS, late in 1881. He operated there until late 1887 when he sold the gallery to A M Armagost. Creese then moves his family to Mankato, KS.

Creese operates a gallery in Mankato, KS, from about 1888 to 1905. He also operates his old gallery in Burr Oak, KS, one day a week, in at least 1900.
