Fond du Lac, WI, H S Miller dies at age 70 (Based on information from family trees shown on Ancestry.com. No other records have been found to support this.)

Unfortunately, the only examples of H S Miller’s photography work found, were from the period when he was working with Cyrus Chadbourne, between about 1874 and 1884.

See Cyrus Chadbourne listing for more information.

This may not be photographer

Example from PhotoTree
This is probably Henry S Miller. Kewaskum, WI, is only about 20 miles from Fond du lac, WI.

photographer: M Kenna and Miller
Fond du Lac, WI
This is quite likely Henry S Miller

The available city directories for Fond du Lac, WI, do not list any “M Kenna”, “MKenna” or “McKenna”, that could have been a partner to Henry S Miller. The style of the card, with a blind stamp imprint, suggests later rather than earlier so perhaps M Kenna could have been someone that took over the Miller studio after Henry Miller’s death. In any case such a partnership was probably very brief.

There was a Frank C McKenna, photographer, working in Waukesha, WI, in 1909 but so far no connection has been made.
