William Foster Cobb
(16 Apr 1869 - 19 Sep 1938)
It appears that W. F. Cobb was only in the photograph business just
the short time he was in partnership with G. D. Wakely, about 1894 to
1897 and then as photographer for John Scartz Studio in Fort Worth,
TX, until about 1901 .
After 1897 he was mostly a traveling salesman for Remington Guns and
ammunition.
This cabinet card must have been done then, between 1894 and 1897.
Wakely seems to have moved around a great deal after his partnership
with Cobb disolved in 1897. See lots more details about
George D. Wakely.
