Haver

Photographer: Haver
Ft. Wayne, Ind.
example from LOST GALLERY

There were only two photographers named Haver in the area of Fort Wayne, IN. In fact, they may even have been the same person. In the catalog of Ohio Photographers 1839-1900 there is listed Joseph J. Haver of Lima, OH. Lima, OH, is only about 60 miles from Fort Wayne, IN.

The other was found on another cabinet card example, John Haver of Ann Arbor, MI, about 100 miles north of Fort Wayne, IN.

Given that many of the photographers traveled a lot, changing locations to find new business, it is no stretch to assume that one or both of these photographers could be the Haver imprinted on the card.

No other information has been found. City Directories of the three towns revealed nothing.

Not the one you were looking for? Here's the photographer's INDEX by name. Listed here are all the Cabinet Card photographers of the 19th century found in LOST GALLERY. This is a work in progress. For a look at the original postings go to LOST GALLERY.
