William David Jackson SR (1836 - 1906)
William David Jackson JR (1862 - 1902)
Gus B Jackson (1870 - 1949)

William David Jackson and sons William David Jackson JR and Gus B Jackson were all photographers.

There are many examples of the cabinet card work from Jackson Galleries. Which of the family is the actual photographer is not always clear. And they didn’t always include an address with their imprint on the cabinet cards, This makes it difficult to date a card by location or photographer.

The timeline here will represent events and documents from all three of them. This will perhaps help establish dates on some of the Jackson Gallery work.

Jackson JR appears to identify himself on some imprints but many cards are imprinted just "W D Jackson" or even just "Jackson" which could mean any of the three photographers.

Additionally, the studio location is not always in the imprint which also makes identification and dating difficult.
